I recorded a live show using the USB recorder feature on the Midas M32, onto a SanDisk Ultra USB 3.0. When I attempted to open the recorded file, I found that the audio cuts out completely about halfway through the recording (see attached image). The second half of the recording is completely silent.
I confirmed when stopping the recording that the M32 cassette animation was still going, so there was no indication of trouble there. However, the size of the recorded file is 1.99GB, extremely close to the 2GB limit. Is it possible that because the size was so close to the limit, the file has been corrupted in some way and failed to save properly? If so, is there any hope of recovery?
